London File is a dynamic, original band with a versatile repertoire of original songs. Formed in August of 1999, London File hails from the great college town of Shippensburg Pennsylvania. The band takes pride in creating thought provoking lyrics and stimulating music. Improvisation and the spontaneity of the moment drive all of London File's shows providing the audience with a unique interactive experience.
It is truly difficult to label the music that London File creates. London File's unique song writing collaboration and free sounding improvisation are reminiscent of jazz, blues, rock and fusion. They have been dubbed as Sophisticated Pop and Avant-Rock. The principal songwriters, London Shover and Spencer Pheil, have two distinct approaches to music that blend together to form an original sound with a combined modern and classic edge. Their eclectic style and music appeal to all music lovers.
The band currently resides in the Philadelphia area and has successfully filled venues all across the Mid-Atlantic Region. The internet has made London File's music easily accessible. The quartet is currently working on their first major album in world famous, Red Rocks Studios, in the Poconos, Pa. sparking interest in several record industry circles.
